Czech to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Religion / sociology of religion in Czechoslovakia | | Czech term or phrase: smavá životní pohoda | Dear colleagues,
here I am again with yet another colourful expression, that of "smavá životní pohoda". I think that you all know me by now :o) and are familiar with the texts that I am currently translating (if not please see my last posts).
The expression is taken from the following sentence:
"V roce 1956 pak podle Svitáka přišel čas překonat období, kdy „živé problémy rozporů socialistické společnosti byly odčarovány se světa“ a „úředně existovala jen smavá životní pohoda“."
Thank you for your suggestions!!!
