podesta [řec.], odpočívadlo - plošina (mezipatrová i patrová), kam ústí nebo odkud začíná rameno schodiště a kde schodiště mění směr.

Podest bei Treppen
Ein Podest ist ein Treppenabsatz, der sich am Ende bzw. Anfang eines Treppenlaufs befindet. Nach höchstens 18 Steigungen sollte ein Zwischenpodest eingeplant werden. Dabei muss die nutzbare Podesttiefe mindestens die Maße der nutzbaren Laufbreite des Treppenlaufs besitzen.
