As a matter of curiosity, what do you have for anfordringstilgodehavende ? Anything better than receivables due on demand ?

If the bank can close your credit without notice (and if you read the small print, they usually can) it is a demand debt account.
If you can withdraw your money without notice (or without paying a premium) it is a demand deposit account.
Such a bank credit would be anfordringsgæld, but the bank credit would usually be a separate item and not listed under ANDEN GÆLD.
Anfordringsgæld may include more that bank debt.
Here (summer rentals) it could be the debt arising from the following situation: "We are sorry that the roof leaked and the hot water tank exploded in the cottage you rented from us. To compensate for the inconvenience this may have caused we offer you a free rental for a maximum value of DKK 20,000 to be taken at your convenience within the next two years." Now the company owes DKK 20,000 to the customer and they must pay it when he demands it.
It could also be a simple thing as money owed to an employee for the business use of his own car in December which will be refunded with the January pay slip. |
