Danish term or phrase: spredebom

This comes from a list of topics covered in a Pesticides in Agriculture course, specifically:

"Sprøjter, pumper, armatur, spredebom og dyser"

I have "Sprayers, pumps, fittings, barriers and nozzles"

I've found several sources that give "boom" as a translation for "spredebom" (as well as "spraybar and breakerbar" but I worry that such terminology isn't as easily understood as "barrier". Any advice on this is much appreciated!
