I have a feeling that Danish doesn't have a proper name for this organism and that they also call it E. faecium... Isn't that often the case for microorganisms?

agree  David Koppel: The term "enterococcus faecium" is found in a Danish-Danish dictionary (Medicinsk Ordbog - Gyldendal). It is described as a type of normal intestinal bacteria found in humans. ("Intestinal bacteria" is "tarmbakterier" in Danish).
