Danish term or phrase: opkant i bruseniche
At the doorsteps of shower stalls or bathrooms the floor height is slightly increased - 20-30 mm typically - to prevent water from running out of the room. It may also be a small doorstep of the floor material itself, such as terrazzo. In Danish it is called an "opkant". The same word is used by plumbers, but there is means "beading", which hardly goes with flooring?

curb / elevated threshold

Explanation:
"The curb is the elevated threshold directly beneath the shower door location. This curb retains shower water from overflowing into your bathroom."

"The shower threshold or curb, like a waterproof pan, prevents the water from seeping onto the rest of the floor or even under the shower and undermining the structure."
