Danish term or phrase: Gåes igennem

"Gåes igennem"- does it mean "surpassed through"? Is there any other meaning?

Explanation:
I am still not entirely sure, but perhaps it means something like learning by doing

It could be something like 'going through' in class

We went through that last week
We went through mixing colours

Or it could mean something like reviewing and analysing:
Eksamensopgaverne skal gåes igennem for at analysere ...

Fravær skal gåes igennem...

I wonder if you could rephrase it to something pupils need to try out for themselves, almost a ´hands on´ experience, if that is what it means.
