Danish to English translations [PRO] Food & Dairy / Foodstuffs | | Danish term or phrase: olielage | I know that in English 'lage' can mean 'brine', but I'm at a loss as to what 'olielage' is. It is clearly something in which added to certain foodstuffs in tins etc. in order to preserve it. The document I'm translating relates to the proposed Danish tax on saturated fats. I guess it could be simply 'brine', which would make sense, or oil/brine.
En række produkter sælges i olielage (f.eks. tun), hvor olien ikke konsumeres. Den drænede vægt af et produkt i lage skal angives (nettovægt).
Thanks in advance for any help. |
