Talking about the heat resistance of a kitchen:

Benyt altid afsætningsmuligheder i form af afsætningskugler/-søjler, afsætningsriste, bordskånere eller lignende, idet gryder o.l. let overstiger varmegrænsen, hvorved overfladen beskadiges for bestandigt.

I would suggest a saucepan stand for the afsætningssøjle

I have no idea what an afsætningskugle is in Danish, although it must be some structure to balance pots and pans on.

A saucepan stand might also be a single-layer structure that you can put on the table top - it is quite an elastic term!

The same thing is also called a trivet

My mother has a collection of trivets that she places on the kitchen table - this might be what you want for another alternative.

Based on "receiving table" and "receiving platter", I would go with this.

It is a structure on which you can place something that is hot, so that the kitchen counter etc. is not damaged. Another word for "at afsætte" is to "put down" or "to set down".
