'Matematisk-Kemisk studentereksamen' - kan det oversættes noget i stil med:

'Mathematics-Chemical matriculation exam at secondary school level' ELLER 'upper secondary school level' - ELLER skal man helt lade være med at oversætte og blot skrive 'Mathematics-Chemical studentereksamen'?

Upper secondary school leaving examination
Explanation:
Upper secondary school leaving examination

http://www.ciriusonline.dk/default.aspx?id=3763

The traditional general upper secondary programmes comprise the 3-year gymnasium programme, the 2-year hf-kursus programme and the 2-year adult upper secondary level programme (studenterkursus). These programmes are academically oriented and are completed with the upper secondary school leaving examination (Studentereksamen) or the higher preparatory examination (Højere Forberedelseseksamen = hf). Both examinations qualify students for general access to higher education.

That is the official title.

It is roughly equivalent to A levels. Danish students spend three years at the gymnasium and I think they take more subjects than UK sixth formers.

The system has been reformed recently, but this is the current description.

In the UK, they probably equate to A-levels (pre-university level school exams)

maybe you could write chemistry in between brackets, however I dont know if it needs to be specified.

Explanation:
My suggestion:
studentereksamen > university entrance examination (or upper secondary school leaving exam)

Example:
Admission requirements
Your application will be considered for admission if you fulfil or expect to fulfil the following conditions before July 1:

1. General admission requirements: a university entrance examination which is recognized or assessed as comparable to a Danish entrance examination

neutral  Michael J.H. Davies: While it may be true to say that the 'stundentereksamen' is a prerequisite for university entrance, I would not use this as a translation since the exam is (in my understanding) primarily a school leaving exam as suggested in the answer from Christine.
