Thanks, Jørgen and Gitte. Yes, I know the term "donor" can be found in any decent dictionary, and yes, I know "donors" and "donations" are two different things. On the text I was translating, "donor" didn't make much sense, whereas "donations" did. That's why I got confused: Maybe in Danish you would say "donorer" but in English you would use "donations" even if that's not the correct translation? But what's a correct translation anyway? Probably I didn't provide enough info to explain my point. Thank you for your help i hvert fald. |
