Cohesion and team spirit?

I had this kind of ´sammenhæng´ in a text a little while back, and guessed at something like that from my context - I don't remember the details.
I do remember that the client sent a nice mail to thank me and acknowledge delivery, but she often does!

This has hints of being drafted by someone schooled in the ways of American corporate HR jargon. I'm thinking that the HR version of the "relationship" between employer and employee has morphed into a "sammenhæng" here? If so, then I'd use "meaning for the relationship". I think the aim here is to encourage commitment to the group effort?
