Danish term or phrase: fyrtårnsprojekt

I forbindelse med realiseringen af et fyrtårnsprojekt inden inden for sundhedsturismen.
I guess this means a project that is not just a pilot project, but is also about generating and attracting attention, but I can't think of a good English expression. Any suggestions?

I have looked around online and I am having a hard time finding places where "lighthouse project" is used to describe a project that blazes a path. A good alternative may be "trailblazer project"
