Danish to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general)
Danish term or phrase: døvblevne
Hi all,

I've to proofread some official legal documents that also include a list of disabilities and physical impairments. How would you best translate "døvblevne"? The original translator seemed to think it was acquired blind but I'm thinking more along the lines of acquired deafness.

Thanks!

'postlingual deafness' perhaps, depending on the exact context.
