  -> "Kar" is not "vein", but "vessel" (which may be either "artery" or "vein"). May I humbly suggest that you use a dictionary, an anatomy book and common sense?

Explanation:
As I see it, the text does not specify where the clot is other than to say "venstre aorta strækkende sig op til venstre halskar" could it possibly be left-sided vessels?
