Danish term or phrase: prøvesal
In a quest to improve theatres, some of which lack a prøvesal*, management will ensure that each theatre has a 'prøvesal'.
Does anyone know whether this is a rehearsal space/room, or is it something else?
Advice appreciated!

rehearsal room
Explanation:
It sounds very much like a "Probesaal" (German) which would be a rehearsal room.
