Danish to English translations [PRO]
Danish term or phrase: see below
All these terms are from a curriculum of a technical college:

statusprøve
statusophængning
semesterrum
studiebelastning
valgdelens specialedel
slutmål

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

English translation:See below
Explanation:
First of all: I am Danish and educated in Denmark. I have attended other colleges but never a technical one. However, if you get nothing else, these explanations might be helpful.

statusprøve
test to establish the student's level of attainment

statusophængning
A couple of possibilities:
1) the date when the results of the statusprøve will be published on the bulletin board
2) the date when the student's solutions (drawings, for instance) will be displayed

semesterrum
"semester" means "term" and "rum" means "room" - but a term room??? The room used for a special purpose or by a group of students during a term???

studiebelastning
amount of work required - literally "study load"

valgdelens specialedel
I think that to be able to understand the exact meaning of this, you need to know about technical studies, and, as I sadid, I don't. For what it's worth, a literal translation:
specially studied subject for the elective part of the studies (sorry!)

slutmål
end target

If I were you, I would ask the technical college in question to help me! I certainly would, if I was working on a translation that included terms like these. They might even be able to supply a translation.

Good luck!
