Sort snog:
Kendes fra den sorte hugorm på to meget tydelige gule nakkepletter. Desuden kan den blive betydelig størrer end hugormen. Eksemplarer på 75 cm er ikke sjældne, og der fortælles om krabater på op til 1 mtr.
Snoge er ikke giftige. Opholder sig mest på fugtige og skyggefulde steder.
