Bus/Financial - Accounting / Finance
Dutch term or phrase: flattering
Almost finished a translation, but just stuck on one term. Maybe some of you are able to help me (anybody has a copy of A. J. de Keizer's Financieel-Encomisch Lexicon?).

The term is 'flattering' in the following sentence:

'Het Clusterbureau draagt zorg voor de codering en flattering van de doorbelasting van de ZZZ-fee.'

My translation so far:

'The Cluster Bureau shall take care of/ensure the coding and ... of the recharge of the MEC fee.'

I know that the terms 'flattering' (and 'deflattering') are
used in the field of accountancy, but I am not aware what
they refer to, nor their English equivalents.

Any suggestions very much appreciated!

"fiattering": approval/vetting/authorisation, etc.
Explanation:
"Flattering" does not fit in this context at all. In my opinion this is a typo and should be "fiattering" or: 'approval', 'vetting', authorisation, etc. in English.

If \"flattering\" is correct, the English term could be anything from \'creative accounting\' to \"inflating\"

\"Flatteren\" = \"fraaier voorstellen dan de werkelijkheid\".

Dear all, many thanks for all your help! The document I am working on is a fax (small print - yep, one of those...). It is indeed likely to be a misprint and authorisation makes sense here. Thanks again and have a nice day :-)
