Marketing - Advertising / Public Relations | | Dutch term or phrase: uiting | Can you just use 'expression' here? In the context of advertising? And if that's the case, can I just insert it in the translation of the third sentence below? ...that an expression does not constitute an advertisement if...? Seems off.
1) Wanneer is iets informatie en wanneer is sprake van (symptoom)reclame voor ziekte en geneesmiddelen? Het is in de huidige praktijk aan de rechter om aan de hand van concrete gevallen die hij krijgt voorgelegd, te beoordelen of het gaat om reclame of informatie. Het gerechtshof in Arnhem heeft in juni 2003, toen de casus over schimmelnagels voorlag, hierover het volgende gezegd: "Een uiting is voorlichting als deze algemene informatie bevat, die de volksgezondheid of menselijke ziekten betreft en die geen directe of indirecte verwijzing naar een geneesmiddel bevat".
2) De richtlijnen geven als definitie: 'Reclame kenmerkt zich door het aanprijzende karakter van de uiting'.
3) Dat het geen reclame is wanneer niet (in)direct verwezen wordt naar een geneesmiddel, is eerder besloten door het gerechtshof te Arnhem in de zaak over de schimmelnagels op 15 mei 2002.
4) In geen enkele communicatie-uiting werd de naam van het geneesmiddel genoemd en als bron voor de media werd verwezen naar het marketingbureau dat voor deze campagne werd opgericht. |

In 1) you might use 'phrasing': Phrasing is promotional when it contains information....
Or also 'communication'
