Zijn dit de eieren die tijdens het schouwen uitgeselecteerd worden omdat ze niet goed zijn? Dit is wat ik het meest logisch zou vinden, ook omdat men bij de uitschouwcategoriën kan aangeven of de eieren alsnog verpakt moeten worden of ze uitgeworpen worden.
Maar de uitdrukking staat nergens in mijn woordenboeken, bevestiging zou dus handig zijn. Iemand met landbouwachtergrond of een beter woordenboek? |

in keeping with Henk's answer, you can have different categories of rejection that result in the non-A class eggs being sorted out/separated for different purposes, e.g. cracked eggs being used to make a ready to use egg mix for caterers, dirty eggs being returned to the washing process, etc. |
