Soms zijn er in een project partijen, die een financiële bijdrage aan het project leveren, of een grondpositie hebben.

I found this definition of "grondpositie" which might help given the "land" context:

Grondpositie = de (publiekrechtelijk in de tijd onbeperkte) mogelijkheid om juridisch eigendom te verwerven op grond van een gesloten overeenkomst (optieovereenkomst of koopovereenkomst met uitgestelde levering) voor een potentiële planontwikkelaar.

Further along in this document (page 2) there is a reference to "overeenkomsten... (die) kunnen worden geclassicificeerd als 'grondpositie'..."

So on the basis of the first reference I would suggest that this could refer to the (potential) (legal) rights or ownership of land (possibly publicly owned) for (potential) development (on the basis of agreements concluded).

The second reference seems to suggest that this could also (or perhaps instead?) refer to the agreements or contracts concluded by developers providing them with these rights.
