mass study* Explanation: I know that the answer 'mass study' was given, but mine has a totally different background, based on common practice in the field of architecture, nothing to do with large-scale research. A mass study is often done follows the preliminary design. See: http://www.idemployee.id.tue.nl/g.w.m.rauterberg/publication... "At the same time architects often use a mass study.
