evidently a partition, but the Meeloop bit I would like to know

moving/movable partition
Explanation:
Would need to know a bit more about the partition to determine if this term is anywhere near correct, but 'moving' or 'movable' partion is often one way of translating 'meeloop' or 'meelopend'.

--------------------------------------------------

Others ways of translating 'meeloop' or 'meelopend' -- but not necessarily in this context -- include 'trailer', 'follower' and 'tracking'.

'Trailing partition' might be an option, even if that is rather confusing in the context of trailers. See the following reference, for example!
