Imo, the disagree is OTT (neutral also sends a message) because without providing context, it's a bit unfair to ask a question and then hammer someone for not providing the answer desired. Especially when the asker and the person disagreeing are apparently the same person.

Unfortunately I appear to have misunderstood how to respond to answers. It was not my intention to offend anyone. I did not realise that clicking disagree was so offensive. What is it there for? I could not provide more context than I did without posting the entire document. Traffic warden was a good suggeston but not exactly what we were looking for here. I believe that a traffic controller is most often used for a person in an air traffic control position. The translation I was looking for with my colleagues was for a person who assists road traffic and pedestrians in exceptional circumstances. Which we eventually came up with ourselves and I posted the solution out of courtesy and to help other in the future not to offend anyone.

is always helpful. explanations in English of how a Dutch term is used are much less helpful. it makes it pointless to make peer comments because the actual context is hidden away.
