Dutch to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Automotive / Cars & Trucks | | Dutch term or phrase: tegen r. balk [...] v. hart asstel | | This refers to the location of a vehicle chassis no. I'm not sure what to call the 'balk', and I can't find 'asstel' in the dictionary (couple of mentions on google, but I'm none the wiser ;) |

| | on the right (box) girder [...] near the axle mount | Explanation: Just a suggestion, but hat's how I would express it. "Balk" = kokerbalk = girder. "Asstel" I read in this case as "construction of the axle system". Eurodicautom gives for "twee-asstel": tandem axle and for "drie-asstel": tri axle. Hope this helps. |

| Grading comment Well, it's a better suggestion than I had, so I'll go for it. Many thanks :) 3 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer |
