Dutch term or phrase: kussenvormend
"Aster novae-angliae 'Vibrant Dome' is een vrij laag blijvende kussenvormende en compact groeiende aster die tot 48 cm hoog wordt en tot rond 76 cm breed. "

From a description of flower types grown by a plant nursery.

Does anyone know if there is a specific term for this?

Thanks for any help.

Also known as Fall Asters, these are terrific favorites for autumn colour in the perennial border. Plants form bushy mounds, bearing loads of small daisy flowers. This is a medium-height selection with vibrant purple blooms. Pinch plants before July to maintain a cushion effect. Excellent for cutting. Most Asters will be troubled much less with powdery mildew when grown in a moist, rich soil. Divide plants every two to four years to maintain vigour.
