Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Botany / plant/flower shops
Dutch term or phrase: bijsteker
Not much context for the actual term is given, but it has to do with supplies for plant and flower shops. The sentence this occurs in:

"Sinds 1980 actief en inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een specialist in het toeleveren van bloemisterijartikelen, ondergronden, decoraties, >>>bijstekers<<< en toebehoren aan grootverbruikers, opplanters en kwekers."

agree  Chris Hopley: I think you need to include 'decorative' somewhere (cf. DE and FR versions of that site: Dekostecker / Décorations à planter), e.g. 'decorative plant stick'. Stickpin = dasspeld

Note to reference poster
Asker: Apparently they are items "on a stick" to be stuck alongside plants in the soil, purely decoratively. "Plant sticks" isn't exactly clear. that could be anything, from sticks made of plants to supporting sticks for the plants (which they aren't either)
