See below Explanation: Without further context a possible translation would be: 1997 net worth tax opinion per capital interest held in Hupsakee Limited Partnership. Please also grade previous answers when you get a chance. Thanks |

two possibilities (see detail) Explanation: 1. Since a limited partnership is a type of share company, a 'particapatie' may be effectively a share (perhaps referred to as such, instead of 'aandeel' , for legal/historical reasons). Note also that the van Dale N>E gives 'participatiebewijs' = 'participatory preference share' 2. The ther possiblitiy is that it means 'in proportion to the amount of equity held' -- since a 'participation' in the financial sense means an equity investment in a company. |

capital interest/equity Explanation: 'Participation' in English financial terminology is only used in the context of loans (including mortgage loans). Participating interest, too, would not be suitable here since that is a (4th Council Directive) term used for shareholding in a company not large enough to qualify as a subsidiary. On the face of it 'share' seems a possibility, since we are concerned with a limited partnership, but then why did not the Dutch text refer to "aandeel". Equity would seem the only other alternative here. |
