Dit komt uit een overeenkomst voor een lening in het Vlaams. Ik heb moeite met het gedeelte "in eerste rang in te schrijven".
"De kredietnemer verklaart ten gunste van de bank een speciale in eerste rang in te schrijven hypotheek te verlenen op de hierna beschreven onroerende goederen".

Het is mogelijk om meer dan één keer een hypotheek te vestigen op hetzelfde onroerend goed. Dezelfde woning of onroerend goed doet in dat geval dienst als waarborg voor meerdere kredieten of verbintenissen. Maar de schuldeiser die zijn hypotheek het eerst laat inschrijven op het hypotheekkantoor, heeft voorrang op de andere schuldeisers bij een eventuele verkoop : hij komt "in eerste rang". First mortgage is probably the more common term in the UK, although probably doesn't mean quite the same thing.
