Can I translate this simply as "changes"?

Thanks!

English translation:ongoing changes
Explanation:
you could use simply 'changes' and no one would be the wiser, but I think that (even the Dutch are less pedantic than the Germans) the author would have used 'veranderingen' if that is what he or she meant. The literal 'processes of change' is akward, but 'ongoing changes' has something of the the same flavour and indicates that the changes are not a one-time thing.

Thanks Ken, that was my thinking exactly: "processes of change" does indeed sound awkward, but I couldn't come up with anything better: your suggestion of "ongoing changes" is a fine one. Thanks again for all the help. Anne
