Dutch to English translations [PRO] Business/Commerce (general) | | Dutch term or phrase: het is even aanpakken | Working on a case study/success story here of a company who has switched over it's communication and data flow processes to a new service. The text discusses how it has improved efficiency in business processes for their company.
This phrase appears in a quote, and although I know what all of these words mean, I'm pretty sure its one of those expressions that just doesn't translate literally. I don't have any sources that come up with this combination, but hopefully someone has come across this expression before.
The text reads as follows:
"Anno 2005 heeft de Manager Document Services nog geen moment spijt gehad van de migratie. "Het is even aanpakken, maar de voordelen zijn evident. Inmiddels hebben we versie 4.1 van StreamServe in gebruik en blijkt uit meerdere factoren dat het beheer is vereenvoudigd en dat de prestaties en stabiliteit zijn verbeterd." |

| Grading comment 'preciate you all for the help. Dave's answer was my own initial thought, which just sat the wrong way with me. Still didn't make much sense with "maar" in there, so I didn't progress in my thoughts with that answer. Describing it in terms of "making an effort" or "working at it at first" or more loosly "getting used to the new system" hit the buzzer. Thanks! 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer |
