Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
Dutch term or phrase: handelsrente
From a terms and conditions.

If the buyer does not pay for the goods by the date specified on the invoice, he has to pay "wettelijke (handels) rente".

Is this just the same as statutory interest, or is handelsrente perhaps a specific (and different) business/commercial interest rate?

Thanks in advance for any help.
