Dutch term or phrase: assurantiepenningen
I am currently translating the GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALES for a Dutch company, and am struggling to find an appropriate translation for the term "gesubstitueerd door assurantiepenningen".

The context is as follows:

"Koper is verplicht de goederen afdoende te verzekeren en verzekerd te houden tegen de gebruikelijke risico's totdat volledige betaling aan verkoper heeft plaatsgevonden. Dat geldt ook voor transportrisico's indien koper - met instemming van verkoper - de goederen af magazijn verkoper geleverd heeft gekregen. Bij teniet gaan van de goederen worden de goederen geacht te zijn gesubstitueerd door assurantiepenningen."

A. Van den End suggests the translation "insurance money", is this correct, but this term seems a little 'awkward' in this context.

All suggestions welcome, KudoZ points will be awarded within 72 hours.

Many thanks,

Anne
