Er werd dus besloten om de organisatie in meer landen uit te zetten dan alleen in Nederland en België. Engeland, Scandinavië, Zwitserland, Duitsland, Oostenrijk en Spanje waren de landen die volgden. De reden om zo door te pakken was noodzaak; de ontwikkeling van bepaalde producten kon anders niet gedragen worden.

It seems to me that a larger market was required in order to create critical (sufficient) demand ---> financial support for the development of certain products
Alternatives:
