Dutch to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / Customer Relations | | Dutch term or phrase: klantcontact(en) | I came across this term multiple times in job descriptions.
It does not (as it first might seem) relate customer contacts in the sense of business relations. The term is used in this context to mean actual instances when the employee comes into contact with the customer, e.g. when a customer telephones to make a billing enquiry, or writes a letter to make a complaint.
Examples
"behandelen van klantcontacten via verschillende kanalen (telefoon, post, e-mail)"
"inbound/outbound contacten"
The heading: "Gerealiseerde klantcontacten"
"prognosemodellen voor contactvolumes" |
| | | customer contact | Explanation: I think customer contact is an option if you make the context right.
"Maintaining Customer Contact
Part of relationship selling involves maintaining regular contact. If you neglect a client who has trust in your integrity as a person and as a salesperson, that client may finally be forced to turn to your competitor."

If the context allows, client contact may be better.
I think btw that the same term is used for different meanings:
Client (or customer) contact using different media
Inbound/outbound contacts
Number of customers served

Good luck.
