I think it is not uncommon in larger firms in NL to have such a department, even if it only consists of one person. This is exactly the situation where I currently work, although it's a section rather than a department: hoofd sectie arbeidsvoorwaarden. They translate it as 'Head of Labour Conditions' fwiw... The lack of Google hits could be due to the fact that Anglo-Saxons don't always have their key responsibility/portfolio in their job title, e.g. Senior HR Consultant or Deputy HR Director might cover the same job as Chef/Hoofd Arbeidsvoorwaarden... |
