English translation:destination location
Explanation:
The term 'aanlanden' is used in Dutch to mean 'arriving on shore'. It is often used when talking about a boat arriving at a harbour or a ferry boat arriving at a ferry terminal. In the fishing industry it is often used when talking about the place where the catch is brought onto land. The Netherlands has a rich tradition of travel, trading and exploration via the sea, and therefore many nautical terms are now used in a less literal sense. I believe the author of this text simply means the location (in a foreign country) where the workers of company ABC are sent to work. For example, when workers from the Netherlands were sent to Dubai in the Middle East to work on the the Palm Island, the 'aanlandlocatie' was Dubai and the region was the Middle East.
