Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / auctions
Dutch term or phrase: bemiddeling
Does anyone know whether 'brokerage' is the right term in this specific context? Comes up in an interview with the Director of a Belgian fruit and veg auction association X.

'Klokverkoop' refers to the 'Dutch auction system'. I've been given the following definition of 'bemiddeling':

agree  Chris Hopley: 'Brokerage' is fine here, as is anything else (e.g. agent/agency) that indicates that the goods are sold through the auction acting as an intermediary rather than through the bid system.
