Explanation:
Lead MonoSilicate is an eutectic mixture of Lead Ortho-silicate and Lead Metasilicate with a chemical composition of 85% Litharge (PbO) and 15% Silica. This mixture is heated up above 750°C in order to expel molecular water.

Om een lang verhaal kort te maken; er komt water vrij. Niet te vewarren met het water dat gewoon kan verdampen door droging. Loodmonosilicaat ; yep, één lood en één silicium. En lood-sesqui-silicaat ? Twee loodjes en drie silicaatjes."

Explanation:
The word frit is used both as a noun and as a verb. According to the Oxford Compendium, it means a calcined mixture of sand and fluxes as material for glass-making or a vitreous composition from which soft porcelain, enamel etc. are made. As a transitive verb, it means to make into frit, partially fuse. The dictionary gives the derivation as from Italian fritta, feminine past participle of friggere, to fry. I am with MoiraB in suspecting that there is some text after your given context because gefrit, being used as an adjective, seems to require one or more nounds after it.
