So therefore my guess is that the original text said something like Leitrechner, which translates to, e.g. master computer (which is not a data server).
Was it written by someone in Flanders? Because it sounds really Flemish to me... and syntax could be a lot better. Might even have been translated from English to Dutch, and now has to be translated back?
