Dutch term or phrase: bolverbinding
Can anyone help with "bolverbindingen"? Mentioned in connection with the Olympic football stadium in Crete. Can't find much technical info under the name Pagkriti, though there do seem to be several versions of the name e.g. Pankrition, Pankritio, Pagkritio.

Pagkriti Stadion in Kreta (GR) - klant: Varitec Engineering (CH)

Found a couple of pictures (different project) so you can see exactly what a bolverbinding looks like:

This Varitec site (in German) has some good pics of the stadium:

Although it's in German, the site does mention ball joints and connectors, suggesting that "ball joint connectors" might be the bolverbindingen, but can't find much to support that.

Explanation:
the connectors would then be the rods between the nodes

.... bipods ....

Explanation:
Hi, I immediately thought of the Atomium in Brussels...on the sites I found they spoke of "bipods", which isn't exactly the right term I believe, but maybe it's possible to add something else to make it exact, like "bipods of balls and tubes"...I don't know. Maybe you have a better idea...goodluck!
