Dutch term or phrase: betontriplex
This is material one can use to build a terrarium for keeping snakes. It seems like this could be a patented type of concrete, but I cannot simply keep the term as it is as the target audience (US) would need to know what product they can use.

concrete plywood
Explanation:
can it be that simple? according to http://www.ochrid.dds.nl/bouw.htm it is

Note: it is a type of plywood with a very smooth surface that is used for moulds when pouring concrete, so it doesn't stick and can be removed easily after curing; not sure why you need that to keep snakes - seems a bit dark...

Notes to answerer
Asker: The author is describing how to build a terrarium. Apparently wood is not good enough as moisture would weaken it over a period of time, so he recommended this instead. This is obviously only meant for the side and back walls, with glass being used in the front.

agree  Saskia Steur: or in other words " Film Faced Waterproof Shutter Plywood "

  -> quite a mouthful ;-) but you're right

agree  Ken Cox: although simple exterior-grade plywood would probably be adequate -- I imagine that shuttering (formwork in the US) plywood is pricey.//Marine plywood would be even better (much more durable than exterior grade, but not cheap).
