Dutch term or phrase: inzicht-installatie
This is a second question pertaining to the 'Toelichting definitief ontwerp' I am translating (dated 1997), a document detailing every aspect of the construction of a new building (a ship testing facility).

This term appears twice, in the following context:
2. Elektrotechnische Installaties
2.5 Krachtinstallatie
2.5.1 Leidingaanleg
(Note: There are no other items listed in this section)
2.6 Lichtinstallatie
2.6.1 Leidingaanleg
(Note: There are no other items listed in this section)
(Note: I have added the stars around the term for emphasis. They were not present in the original text.)

Has anyone come across this term before? I can't find it anywhere else, and my suspicion is that it may be the proper name for a design methodology or software package. Perhaps it's even called "Insight". I just don't know.

in sight / visible (wiring)
Explanation:
I think your text contains a typical error of writing two words as one, and that it should read "in zicht", literally meaning "in sight".

http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elektrische_installatie :

"Aanleg

[bewerken]Buizen

[emphasis added, SC]

You might find a better equivalent for "in sight" or "visible" (btw not 'open', imo, that would imply the wires are unprotected), but this is the general idea.

Very insightful answer (pun intended). Thank you for your assistance, I never would have figured this one out on my own.
