Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering
Dutch term or phrase: frontwand
This is a report on expansion joints used on motorways etc. The term refers to part of the road structure, usually together with 'sloof'. Example:

'De sloof en frontwand zijn geïnspecteerd (in relatie tot de voeg) en de toestand is fotografisch vastgelegd'

I have encountered the term 'headwall' but I'm really not sure if this is appropriate in the context.

Many thanks!
