Explanation:
If you spend only two succesful years in Higher Education in England or Wales, you tend to either gain a Diploma from an 'old' University or a Higher National Diploma from a 'new' University. Since 'middelbaar bereopsondersijs' is a short form of Higher Education which requires a leaving certificate, I have settled for a Diploma.
