Leerlingvolgsysteem is een op testen gebaseerd onderdeel van leerlingdossier voor basisscholen in Nederland en zijn primair wel voor leerkrachten maar altijd ter inzage voor ouders. Ouders hebben zelfs recht op een kopie hiervan. Het heeft dus wel degelijk te maken met 'achievements'. Dat 'pupils' record of achievement' de lading niet dekt, kan ik me ook wel in vinden hoor, maar wellicht is er geen 1 op 1 vertaling.

Asker: This is not what is meant in the text. The system is used to help teachers to collect as much information as possible about pupils and is only avalaible for teachers
Asker: Het systeem dat hier bedoeld wordt is in eerste instantie voor de school. Zoals het hier bedoeld wordt is het meer dan achievements. Ook persoonlijkheidskenmerken en problemen, interesses worden vermeld. Kortom het is per leerling een soort "dossier" waarin alles staat. Probleem is dat scholen veelal een eigen volgsysteem hebben. En in deze tekst is het in eerste instantie bedoeld voor de school. er wordt niet vermeld dat het ter inzage is voor ouders en leerlingen, alhoewel dat waarschijnlijk wel het geval zal zijn.
