Notes to answerer
Asker: U noemt mijn keuze ordinair en mainstream. Dat mag. Maar ik hoop dat u wel begrijpt dat het hier niet gaat om het Groot Dictee Der Nederlandse taal, maar om een dictee in de 1e klas van de lagere school. De vertaling moet begrijpelijk zijn voor een onderwijzer in de VS, dus hoofdletters en nationale eer zijn ongepast in mijn bescheiden mening.
