On the internet I found: "Doorstroming

A precise definition is hard to find, but these seem to be the "assessed subjects", i.e. those that count towards academic progression (as opposed to PE and RE for example).

Can anyone help with a good English translation?

agree  Olly Pekelharing: strange term, but the list certainly sounds like core subjects.

Explanation:
A hard nut to crack. This might be a way out, although I have my doubts. Possibly 'multiple-phased' or 'multi-phased'? No references to support this, however.
