Het richt zich tot leerlingen van 16 tot 25 jaar (vanaf 15 ½ als de leerling een tweede jaar secundair onderwijs met een volledig leerplan heeft gevolgd). Een leerling onder leercontract krijgt afwisselend theoretische opleiding en praktische beroepsopleiding (in een onderneming). Samen met een erkend opleidingscentrum wordt een opleidingsplan opgemaakt. Dit centrum zorgt bovendien voor de theoretische vorming en begeleiding van de leerling met het oog op zijn sociaal-professionele inschakeling. |

Alternance training:
Alternance education is an education or a training alternating periods in a school or training centre and in the workplace. The alternance scheme can take place on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis depending on the country. Participants are not contractually linked to the employer where they do their practice, nor do they generally receive remuneration (unlike apprentices).

Bij nader inzien: alternance training contract wordt vrijwel alleen op Franse sites gebruikt. Dus toch beter contract weglaten. |
